Other areas of practice include enforcement, which can include Support, Court Orders, terms of a Settlement Agreement, or a Judgment of Divorce.

Mediation & Collaborative Divorce

We have completed the training associated with both divorce mediation and collaborative divorce, which methods are designed by the parties' agreement to avoid litigation by determining their own terms of resolution.

Post Judgment Matters:

Often following the entry of a Judgment of Divorce issues arise which need be addressed in Court including college education and payment of tuition, changes in circumstances or a dispute of interpretation of a Stipulation of Settlement.

Other Complex Cases:

In addition to handling complex financial cases we have represented clients in cases where there were issues such as
-Substance use/abuse
-Mental health issues
-Special needs of children
-Supervised visitation
-Orders of protection for a spouse or on behalf of a child
-Educational issues affecting custody/relocation
-Changes of circumstances

Trial Strategy & Witness Preparation for Trial

Ms. Castrataro believes that client preparation is critical to success at trial, yet is often overlooked. Having a client fully involved and conversant with the facts of the case, its timeline and all of the very details and proof in support of their case is essential during the entire case. This preparation and participation further eases the stress associated with providing testimony should the matter go to trial. Equally essential is the preparation of the client for cross examination to be poised and ready to be challenged while on the stand. Presenting our clients as prepared and in their best light is a critical element when being assessed by the Court for credibility throughout the trial.

This is another part of the attorney-client team approach we employ for each of our clients. Ms. Castrataro has been sought by colleagues to try all or part of a case and to prepare the witnesses for trial.

Adult & Step Parent Adoption

One of the highlights of being a Family Law practitioner is to assist families with step-parent and adult adoptions and to witness the joyful expansion of those families.

Divorce & Custody Mediation

It is our pleasure to offer mediation services to matters where the parties remain motivated and are committed to reaching a fair agreement without the need for the involvement of the Court.

Collaborative Divorce

We are pleased to be a part of the Collaborative community and to participate in the Collaborative Divorce process where the parties are committed to resolving their matter absent litigation.
